  1. Channel Tunnel has been designed and built to withstand fire risks and has a service tunnel for emergency evacuation however damage from multiple lithium battery pack fires could close the tunnel for a considerable period of time and cost vast amounts of money.

  2.  @TheTruth-dy8ze  The tunnel owners will need to upgrade the tunnel to withstand lithium battery fires from electric vehicles or until then consider a ban on electric vehicles from travelling in the tunnel and have vehicle hire at each end of the tunnel for customers to travel either in the UK or in France.
