All the road and rail projects promised by Conservatives in the 2019 Conservative Party manifesto that did not happen are now promised again even though some of these projects were cancelled by the same politicians that now celebrate these projects promised funding. Labour will reinstate HS2 as a vanity project to reduce travel times for MPs, Peers and Elected Mayors into London whilst regional railways will have budget cuts. Labour will scrap regional rail funding to fund HS2 and West Yorkshire including Leeds will be denied a tram or tram train system by Labour Government again. Expensive HS2 rail for the few not the many.
