Xylitol needs to be kept away from dogs and other pets.

I had my amalgams removed from a dentist listed by IAOMT using the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART Protocol) and as soon as the last amalgam left my tooth I felt a pressure/force lift away from my head. If amalgams are to be removed it must be done using the SMART Protocol.

Oil pulling technique where raw, organic coconut oil is swished around the mouth could start to help with oral health even if only a few seconds at a time. Information on the benefits of coconut oil and oil pulling techniques can be found online.

Clove oil contains more eugenol at higher concentrations than ground cloves or raw cloves. Would one or two teaspoons of ground clove powder or four to six cloves per day still risk permanent damage to teeth? As one teaspoon of ground cloves numbs the mouth for a few seconds.

Intermittent snacking is not to be confused with intermittent fasting.

@dr.elliephillips Sorry, I don't want anyone to experiment. I thought the answers were available from previous studies and research.

White fillings to replace amalgams.

Interdental brushes that look like very small bottle bottle brushes and available in various sizes with handles can reach between the gaps in teeth but interdental brushes should never be forced between teeth.

A little Xylitol such as an eighth to a quarter of teaspoon of Xylitol used as a mouthwash after eating or drinking could be helpful. Large amounts of Xylitol can have a laxative effect. Xylitol must be kept away from pets and Xylitol is dangerous to dogs.

@martinnichols45 Xylitol was in use during World War 2.

Baking Soda in the US is Bicarbonate of Soda in the UK not to be confused with baking powder.

@pamelatimbush3762 Xylitol products carry warnings that pets such as dogs must never consume Xylitol.

@patriciafaes1223 Everyone eats and drinks natural sugars. It's the refined sugars that are added to food that may be an issue.
4
@patriciafaes1223 Even meat has natural sugars.

Totalsweet is a brand of xylitol available from some major supermarkets such as Sainsbury's and Asda whilst Tesco have their own brand xylitol.
3
@iolxc You're welcome!Totalsweet Xylitol can be found in the sugar and sweeteners section near tea and coffee aisle.
3
Large supermarkets in Europe stock xylitol on the shelf and xylitol can be ordered online from Walmart in North America.
3
@martinnichols45 Apologies. Did a search online and Xylitol was started to be used commercially in the 1960s but don't know when Xylitol was first sold by retailers in stores for customers.
3
@timguinn5376 My comment referred to natural sugars not added sugars. If meat contained zero sugars the Maillard reaction between amino acids and sugars would not occur.

@sararamos3903 IAOMT (org) has information on the safe removal of amalgams.
1
@notapplicable9970 I can't remember but my amalgam fillings were removed as single pieces not cut and not drilled off.
1
@yharnamiyhill787 The amalgams were replaced by white fillings after amalgam removal and cleaning to remove some staining. A short course of chlorella capsules/tablets was also taken after each set of amalgams were removed.

@goelederick807 A toothpaste without fluoride may help reduce sensitivity. Waiting about 30 minutes to brush teeth after eating and drinking acidic food and drinks may reduce acidity levels in the mouth.

@lauriechase4906 A quick search online brings conflicting information on the issue that is further complicated by differing types of oils available and how these oils are made.
1
Food grade Bicarbonate of Soda/Baking Soda not Baking Powder is low abasion. Many toothpastes are highly abrasive. A search of 'Toothpaste Abrasiveness Ranked by RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasion) Value can give historical information although values will change over time as toothpaste formulation and ingredients change.

Calcium hydroxyapatite is a material found in eggshells but see research online for information.
