  1. Air Force One being the Flying White House was only ever meant for short term use to transport the President and entourage. No one would want to spend days in the air in a passenger aircraft without landing. Air Force One would likely only be used to transport people to one of the many deep underground military bases if no safe and suitable alternative transport was available.
