  1. Population levels in the UK are expected to fall drastically in future years. Water companies pay shareholders on average £2 billion a year for over 30 years, over £60 billion to shareholders, money that could have been used to pay for lower water bills, better infrastructure, water reservoirs, water grid, reduce water leaks, improve water quality and stop sewage from being discharged into waterways and coastlines.

  2.  @perolagrande  The majority of the people in the UK support full nationalisation of water companies and the profits and funding for water companies is paid for by the customers and Government. Privatised water companies will be nationalised at some point. As for shareholders every British citizen was a shareholder of British nationalised utilities before privatisation.
