Pakistan sending weapons to Ukraine is one reason for India choosing to buy weapons from Russia. The majority of weapons sent to Ukraine never reach the frontline and some weapons are being resold with unknown buyers.

@popo3122 The quality of weapons depends on the weapons being bought, in some cases Russian weapons are decades more advanced than similar US weapons and the reverse also applies. Russia is decades ahead of the US in hypersonic missile technology.
