  1. Liberal Democrats may have won the seat by many Labour voters choosing to vote Liberal Democrats. The North Shropshire seat will probably return to the Conservatives in the next general election. Labour voters will be asking themselves why Keir Starmer and the Labour Party have been more supportive of Boris Johnson than Tory MPs. When Boris Johnson leaves his leadership position the Tory poll ratings will consistently exceed Keir Starmer and the Labour Party.
