It's time that employers with employees used psychometric and empathy tests to stop narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths being placed in supervisory and management positions over others.

Many employment sectors are reporting shortages of workers and one reason not often mentioned in the media are recruitment processes.
151
It could be said people quit bad bosses and toxic workplaces more often than they quit companies and organisations.
143
Cubicles could be seen as a luxury as many workplaces are open plan.
59
AI will start being assigned to each worker initially to assist but then to learn from the workers before taking over more and more work by AI alone.
21
Interviews could be similar to exams in that those good with interviews can pass interviews but not be able to succeed in the job in the same way those who can pass exams may not fully understand the subject and are educated to only pass the exams and not be knowledgeable about the subject.
15
Some employers think that when they see workers the workers are not meeting the employers targets that are impossible to achieve.
13
It may be important to keep a record of jobs applied for and not apply more than once to the same job by mistake because some job adverts say they may remove all the applicant's job applications for the same job.

@MikeKay1978 The Neoliberal profit driven, anti-union and anti-worker culture of privatisation and the free market with associated management culture has been promoted in the UK since 1979.
12
Ageism also applies to recruitment.

Brian needs to make a video about winning the lottery!!!

@Lumpia_In_Texas Some workers are lucky in that their work is based on outcomes and finished work and not how the work time is used and these workers have a better work life balance than other workers. The unlucky workers have their work activity monitored including key strokes, file activity, call performance and breaks from work timed, similar to call centres and requirement to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The technology to monitor workers in this way has been available for decades in the workplace and many years for remote working.

@ForgottenKnight1 Thanks for your reply and congratulations on successful recruitment. The issues with some recruitment agencies offering a poor quality service could also apply to some corporate employers and HR with regard to understanding skillsets and this is a potential area for their training and development.
7
Playing the Bangles single Walk Like An Egyptian on the way out would cause confusion for the employer.
6
@jcmcmcjc11 Soul destroying jobs are not worth losing one's health and alternative options could be considered as a backup if the new job doesn't work out.
6
@MikeKay1978 It's the wealthiest and powerful people and institutions in the world that determine the agenda and state policy.

@coffeebean3627 Thank you. Well said. Neurodivergent characteristic could still be protected by ensuring narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths do not have management or any responsibility, power and control over others and that narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths are held fully accountable for any damage they cause particularly in organisations.
4
This is an important comment thread that explains why people's career prospects stop. Those in positions of power won't promote those who could compete against them, seek to change ways of working, constructively criticise or challenge organisation policy or don't promote those seeking to advance because it means they will struggle to find someone who could do the work. There's also internal politics, nepotism, cronyism, favouritism and social issues such as networking outside of work and those who speak to those in power taking credit for the work and ideas of others thereby denying promotion for those who do the work.
4
Biometric data and aggregated user health data is another immense market.
3
@abbysmith1148 Narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths who are running companies could be persuaded to stop placing narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths in management and positions of supervisory responsibility because they will have less problems within their companies, save money and increase productivity.
3
@jamesflynn10 Well said. There's a huge power imbalance and loss of accountability between those at a much higher level and those on lower levels with those at higher levels being cold, callous and cruel to those at lower levels knowing that they on the higher levels will be supported by those who lead the organisation and employer. It's not a case of bad apples in toxic workplaces it's more the whole trees of bad apples representing bad employers and toxic organisations. It's often a case of choosing when to stay, when to stand up for your rights and when to leave particularly when faced with those who have all the power.
3
Job hopping will greatly increase due to automation and increased use of quantum computer based AI.
3
It could be that by the year 2030 the majority of sectors will see massive automation and jobs paying below $20 per hour will be automated. Those losing work or seeking work that paid $20 per hour or less will need social security.
3
@johnthompson7420 Doubtless supported by junk food and Standard American Diet available in most developed countries.
3
It's been said that in terms of relationships it's advisable to meet in person at least once a year as AI could replace some people and there may be no way of knowing in the future if one is communicating with a real person such as a relative or an AI.
3
@John_Fx Some in HR could start using aviation terms in their motivational messages as cheap way to improve productivity.
2
A lot of employers would rather choose automation and outsourcing entry level work to avoid paying more for flexible hybrid remote working.
2
Human Resources treats humans as a resource in the way that materials and other resources are treated. Personnel used to be more about treating people as people and more treating people the way that people themselves would want to be treated.
2
There is a serious shortage of workers that will only get much worse due to experimental gene therapies, poor health and people leaving the employment market.
2
Candidates asking about any restructures may be embarrassing for some recruiters.
2
@ChipsMcClive AI replacing workers is mentioned in the video. As for being fictional perhaps you could do research to find out how companies being bought out by foreign competitors expect the workforce to train foreign workers on the use of technology before the technology is shipped overseas. The principle is the same with AI and machine learning hence the use of Captchas on websites.
2
It's not something that occupational hypnotherapy can help with.
2
@ThePrimeMinisterOfTheBlock The issue is that some courses only provide students with enough knowledge to pass exams without a thorough understanding of the broader subject area.
2
Cubicles are luxury and an aspiration for office workers who work in high density open plan offices with low level desk screen partitions in clusters.
2
@dexm2010 True, and sometimes it could be used to allow recruiters to appoint someone already doing the job and comply with official recruitment policies.
2
@dexm2010 You're welcome, thank you.
2
A lot of jobs in various sectors are being advertised over and over again. The cause could be high turnover of workers from a toxic work environment, poor working conditions and low salaries or increased levels of poor health and disability with some workers permanently leaving employment.
2
@anthonypresley1980 Registered nurses should be on an average of $37 an hour according to a web search. However the $20 an hour could be after deductions. The amount of $20 an hour for nurses seems low.
2
There are reports there is a massive shortage of available qualified experienced workers.
2
Job title with a brief summary of how the role is similar to commonly names roles could help on a CV. It should be acceptable to include the current name of an educational institution that awarded a qualification under its previous name if the previous name of educational institution is also mentioned in the CV.
2
Attitude is another name for Mindset.
1
A great video with interviewing issues that strangely could equally apply to dating and relationships. LinkedIn has been reported as being used for dating as well as networking.
1
@harvardsmithdeangelo6905 Synthetic skin for synthetic people (humanoid robots).
1
The work environment has always changed but change will now accelerate more drastically with ever increasing automation and AI. Health will become more precarious for many meaning paid time off, paid leave, vacation and time outside work with family and leisure activities is more valuable than presenteeism in the workplace.
1
Psychometric tests could be useful for the candidate as well as the employer to help both decide if the candidate would be suitable for the job but being expected to complete a psychiatric evaluation for some jobs may give the impression that the job isn't worth it.
1
@censoredeveryday3320 AI will be used to perform a full analysis of performance the ultimate in time, motion and productivity study.
1
Some employers may be waiting on robots, automation and AI when considering future hiring of employees.
1
The dark triad of personality traits that are narcissist, sociopath and psychopath need to be banned from line management roles and roles involving supervising, management or being responsible for others including appraisals, reviews and interviews. Removing narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths from supervisory, management, and people based roles will reduce some of the problems of bad bosses. HR can start with comprehensive personality tests to prevent narcissists sociopaths and psychopaths from being recruited to positions where they control, supervise and manage others.
1
Reports in alternative media stated the world's rulers had outsourced some of their powers to a sentient AI from a universe contiguous to this universe and it could explain the eerie landscape art of alien cities.
1
@MikeKay1978 WEF and Bilderberg are partially responsible for the system of global governance.
