  1. 45 years of Thatcherism, privatisation, austerity, poverty, deprivation, destitution, homelessness, cost of living crisis, benefit cuts, cuts to public services, forcing public services to compete against public services for funding, forcing the poor to compete against the poor for council/social housing, has resulted in the fragmentation of society. Politicians are also showing the people their lack of understanding of how the economy works because the economy has never functioned as a household. Households cannot create or destroy money in the money supply. Governments can create and destroy money in the money supply. Austerity is a political choice and never a necessity and this is not being reported by mainstream media.
