Parliamentary costs could be massively reduced using the following policies: MPs could be required to trial vouchers to replace Parliamentary expenses for a 60 month trial basis before imposing any voucher scheme to replace Social Security Benefits. MPs and Peers with a household net worth of £10 million or more including property should be banned from claiming any Parliamentary expenses. MPs could be required to stay in new student flats type accommodation whilst residing in London if their main home home is outside London.
