Naomi, the U.S. has come pretty close to declaring, if not its Christianity, then at least its monotheistic foundations (and the Founding Fathers probably did not mean Islam:). Dec. 25 is a federal holiday here. One major school break is during Easter. The currency bills say, "In God we trust." The Pledge of Allegiance includes the words "one nation under God." George Bush senior doubted that atheists should be U.S. citizens.
So, neither the U.S. nor Israel is a country for you. Find yourself a society with true equality, like some members states of the UN Committee on Human Rights. Maybe Saudi Arabia, where you can be arrested for not acting Muslim enough, or Ethiopia, where FGM is performed on almost all women, with an almost absolute equality. Well, if those don't sound equal enough, you can always try the Russian Federation.

A "NON-MEMBER UN observer state." A far cry from a recognized sovereign "Palestinian State", which has never existed, just like the "Palestinian nation" never existed. The majority of the PA are Arabs, same ones as in Jordan (in fact, mostly former Jordanian nationals), Egypt, etc. So, the expression "their land" is meaningless.
Israel doesn't "want the extra land so bad", it wants security. Which the Palestinian Authority has miserably failed to provide. If they could provide security, Israel would be more than willing to make concessions. In fact, it offered the Barak-Clinton peace deal in 2000, which Arafat rejected.
Making all the West Bank residents citizens of Israel? So they use Israeli democracy to vote for becoming a Sharia state and killing the Jews? Why don't you just say outright that you want Israel to stop existing as a Jewish state. If that feels so right, what's the problem saying it?
