@GrigRP .... You mean the North America that has Mexico in it? And the US, where Spanish is the second largest language. So in one statement, you demonstrate that you don't understand that one third of the continent speaks Spanish as a primary language, and at the central part of North America speaks Spanish more than any other language other than English. That's glorious. 👍🏽 Great job.

@Dcain2 THIS right here. And I'll point out that Chief Hoskins of the Cherokee Nation has made agreeing statements. "For Cherokee Nation, what may be our darkest act is when we enslaved other human beings and then deprived them and their descendants of basic rights for over a century. Under our own laws, parts of our economy were built on the backs of enslaved people. We have to recognize that there were times when we imposed trauma on others; we have to acknowledge that we enslaved African-Americans under our own law. If we ignore or suppress that, we do to Freedmen and their descendants the same things that have been done to Cherokee people."

Not something most modern Cherokee are particularly proud of, and Chief Hoskins recently and finally addressed that fact, at least for the big Rez. But yes, it's true.
