@darthzourr1361 Probably the other way around. Without the Western Allies and their support, the Soviet Union would perish. And it's not like the Soviet Union has a choice. Eventually, the Soviet Union was betrayed and attacked by its former ally Germany. If the Soviet Union were to stop at the Polish border, the Americans, British and other Western Allies would simply advance to Warsaw. Then Eastern Europe would not be so economically underdeveloped to this day.
