  1. I'm Iranian. Many, many years ago, Imam Khomeini told us, in effect, "whenever the US govt applauds you, you should start doubting yourself." I've used that as a yardstick, a litmus test, to recognize oppressors vs. the oppressed throughout the years, and it's never failed me yet. And interestingly, it is the oppressed who are supporting Palestine: Yemen, South Africa, Iran, Ireland, Lebanon, etc.
