  9. The U.S. has gone almost completely nuts and sadly, you will soon be forcing other countries to do as you choose to do, as usual. As an academic, I can already see it: My scientific articles refused for publication unless the pronouns are "correct", and there are no references to mothers, etc. It would be hilarious if it weren't so scary. The APA guidelines will be rewritten, and so on. Honestly, there will be absolutely no end to this madness unless the few remaining sane Americans do something and stop it all now.
