  1.  @richarde.6750  No, the proposed Defiant-X competed against V-280 and lost for many reasons. Raider-X was competing against the Bell 360 and that program was canceled.

  2.  @Maddog-xc2zv  It is a program of record and is in development. No "other players" can take its place because there aren't any. It soundly defeated its rival in the competition.

  5. S-71 was proposed for the competition for what became the Apache 50 years ago. It actually never flew.
