  1. As always, the best part of the video is that young, athletic guide. OK, OK, but beyond that, I took the opportunity to look up the Golden Tree and found why it's there. What a sad story. Our big cities in both countries are too often unfriendly to kids. Are there other parts of Vancouver that point to uncomfortable memories? Down in the States we're grappling with how to do that. As an example, we have a small parklet in Washington, D.C., that is worth a visit.
