  1. I left simply because of the quality of the people. In general, Americans are arrogant, hypocritical, angry and divided, rude, disrespectful, entitled, etc. Then there is the increasing violence. I didn't feel comfortable and safe when in public. I didn't like the bigotry and even racism (especially in the South). I didn't like religion pushing their agendas, and the "I'm right, you are wrong" attitude.
