@YashPal-gv2ul Satan exists only in mythology.
8
@YashPal-gv2ul Hollywood is a place, a location, and doesn't have a mind to contemplate theology.
7
Probably because he heard someone say, "aight imma head out," and realized we are too ignorant for first contact.
3
David Wang correct, all gods are mythology, and require faith.
3
Not the complete talk.
1
@FireOvRenewal yes, only in one's mind - as mythology
1
@FireOvRenewal Myths are stories or false ideas. There are four basic theories of myth: • Rational myth theory • Functional myth theory • Structural myth theory • Psychological myth theory. Religions are the rational myth theory that states that myths were created to explain natural events and forces. Myths are definitely not reality as they lack substantiated, verifiable, incontrovertible evidence - a.k.a Science. Laughable are the peons who make statements that imply faith-based beliefs are factual. Truth doesn't require faith. Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have ever been proven nor disproven, thus the need for faith.

@vincentpinto1127 lol, Nietzsche died 8/25/1900 so won't see your comment.
1
@vincentpinto1127 you miss the point... Jesus requires faith. All theological beliefs are faith-based. Truths don't require faith as they can be substantiated incontrovertibly. Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have been proven nor disproven, thus the need for faith. So Nietzsche was indeed correct as he was referring to confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance. Arrogant is asserting one's faith-based belief is true and all others false.

@vincentpinto1127 I'm a theologist. I don't need to reread anything. 😁 Thanks for trying.
1
@vincentpinto1127 yours is a faith-based belief. Please don't assert it to me as factual. Theology encompasses more than christianity. The bible is just a hand-selected anthology of ancient documents which have been substantially edited and translated incorrectly multiple times, written by ignorant, unknown, misogynistic, racist, bigoted, men who liked to tell new and retell plagiarized stories and knew nothing about the world outside their small geographic area. There are hundreds of versions of the bible. Truth doesn't come in versions. You are free to believe whatever, but it's on faith.
1
@vincentpinto1127 I agree, it does take faith to believe something is true when it can not be incontrovertibly substantiated. However that faith doesn't make the belief true. As such, and I agree, thousands of different faith-based beliefs cause Cognitive Dissonance. 😁
1
@vincentpinto1127 I also agree, "luck" is a convenient illusion, such as miracles attributed to supernatural deities.
1
@joeking433 lol @ "biblical truth." It's a faith-based belief. Truth doesn't need faith. He was referring to Confirmation Bias.
1
@joeking433 I'm a theologist. I know. It's faith-based because there isn't any substantiated, incontrovertible evidence. It's belief based on faith (lack of evidence). Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have been proven nor disproven. They all require faith.
1
@Truthshouldalwaysbetold agree except faith is by definition, belief without substantiated, incontrovertible evidence.
1
@filmeseverin remember, that's a faith-based belief that not everyone shares. Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have been proven nor disproven. Belief doesn't make something true. If it were true, you wouldn't need faith.
1
@filmeseverin that's just a faith-based belief in the supernatural. If it were fact, as you assert, faith wouldn't be required.
1
@filmeseverin your "creator" also demands to be worshipped
1
@filmeseverin again, a faith-based belief, one of thousands

Thanks to those Twitter people.
