  3. People considering a sperm donor should thoroughly research the facility's history. As a college student in the 1980's, I frequently made donations with many different clinics in various states. It was a good source of income. I didn't want to raise a family so being able to help a couple have a baby seemed benevolent. DNA profiling and personal computers weren't a thing back then. Records were on paper. There was very little oversight. Sperm could be kept a long time. It never occurred to me that in the future we'd be able to do genetic family searches. I did a DNA test to discover any health issues. The ancestry part was of no concern... I knew my relatives. When I received the results, it was a shock to see biological children and grandchildren. A lot of them. I then used two other search companies which revealed more children. My concerns were primarily to stay anonymous, and that people weren't going to marry a sibling. There wasn't much I could do about the latter.

  6. I wonder if he thought of meeting her in some way she wouldn't know who he is. With her phone number it would be easy to discover where she lives, etc. (I'm not suggesting he should do that.)

  14. Can the world watch him invade and take control of an entire country and only respond with sanctions? He's instigating WW3. Putin has already said he'd go nuclear if he doesn't get what he wants.
