  1. One doesn't just walk away from the Church. Because of the way it is legally set up, you have to resign, in writing, otherwise they will maintain your records / membership marking you as inactive - technically you are still a Mormon. I wanted to be wiped from all that, to honestly say, "I'm not a Mormon." To do so, I had to hire a lawyer who threatened to sue, in order to receive a letter from the church stating that it was done. I only knew to do all that because I worked at Church Headquarters.

  2. Here's a theory for you ... Flat Earth "believers" are just faking belief to get attention. Pathetic. It takes a very special kind of gulllibility and stupidity for someone to pass beyond middle school and not understand why the planet is spherical. That's beyond simple ignorance.
