  5. As long as Man maintains a faith-based belief in the supernatural, over critical thinking skills, substantiated truths, and continued advancement of knowledge that conflicts faith beliefs, we are not an intelligent species, especially not to any civilization that could reach us.

  6. ​ @RebornThaRebizzle  clearly you don't understand critical thinking nor the scientific method - neither require faith, and neither involve the supernatural. Religion is entirely faith-based. Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have been proven nor disproven, which is the nature of the supernatural. Also, one would have to disprove every other faith-based belief before even contemplating a claim that one is true. Even then, there would be no incontrovertible, substantiated evidence to begin to validate it. Truth doesn't require faith.

Man has worshipped thousands of deities and none have been proven nor disproven, so any, all, or none could exist. There's no debate. You can't argue something supernatural. It's clear... You've chosen one to have faith in and think it's true just because you believe it, doesn't mean it actually is. I can't make peace with something I don't believe in. I have no fear of death. I believe we simply cease to exist upon death. You have a need to have a faith-based belief, perhaps based on fear of the one you have chosen to worship. I don't. If you were born and raised in Iraq you'd be praising Allah. 🙂
