  1. This is the only video I found that actually explains how a supernova happens. One of the most confusing part in popular science about black holes is that when people ask how does a supernova happen, the explanation always end with it is a big star and eventually it collapsed under the weight of its gravity and explodes. How does something explode outwards when everything is supposed to be collapsing inward? You are the only one that actually says the supernova explosion is due to the outer shell of materials quickly collapsing and hitting the solid core at such a tremendous force that the rebound, like a ball bouncing off the ground, blows away all those materials that did not get fully collapsed into the black hole.
