@peterfireflylund Your comment is literally the reason why China is winning on this front and multiple other places. This video literally just told you that they have done their own R&D on every level of solar cell production to the point they don't even need to buy western machinery. They are building their own equipment which now outperform their western counterparts. The only thing they are slightly behind is polysilicon purity, which they will eventually catch up. Their solar cells are now cheaper, better, made faster than the west. They already won and you still think they are mere IP thieves, cheap labor and polluters. The ironic hypocrisy that resulted out of the west failure to take China seriously in gaining high tech manufacturing capability is anti-free market, anti-capitalism, anti-freedom good ol' tariffs to protect our own industries. Put your money where you mouth is and admit that they are better than us and start taking them seriously. People like you is why west is in decline; stupidity and idiocy masked by unearned confidence and fed by racism. Keep underestimating them, they love that mentality.

@Li Ryan. After living in America for a long time, and seeing how media outfits like fox news and CNN work, the Great Firewall is necessary to prevent a full blown information warfare meltdown from America. Imagine if fox news is allow to tell lies in China, it will make the 1/6 coup attempt in America look like a child's play should it happen in China. But I bet that's what America wants.

When the west do it, it is "making market conditions more fair". When other people do it, it is protectionism. I stopped listening to the blatant hypocritical language even though Asianometry is typically a very fair channel and do call out bullshit.
