  1. I think despotism should be imposed on the west until they learn to be civilized and abandon their barbaric colonial thinking. Maybe that's what they are really afraid of, that the rise of China and other Global South countries will eventually let themselves be "imposed" upon by more powerful countries, in a kind of reversed colonial way. They can only think of the rise of other countries in this way because they never truly abandon that colonial mindset. It is why they will never be able to live peacefully in a multipolar world, because they cannot fathom a multipolar world where they might be the ones to be colonized. A thief will always believe everyone is trying to steal from him.
