@leihtory7423 You can make 7 nm nodes with DUV, it's just harder and has less yield. But there is also no reason why China cannot build EUV tools. It's just a matter of time. Even then, China is not just trying to replicate old tech, they are also blazing new trails with other forms of electronics. They are doing quantum computing, photonics etc. Some of these cutting edge tech will bear fruit in the future and we don't even know exactly what these new frontiers will bring.

@cooluser23 The US illegally sanctioned Huawei to destroy competition and to try to contain China for no other reason than the US political elites are freaking out that China is going to be the top country. IMO, Huawei has every right to reverse engineer anything it wants.
