@malcolmmyself9653 Adam Smith also castigated the landlords, and the rent-seeking system that feudalism operated under. No real economists (except the current cadre of western corporate stooge economists) will ever say rent-seeking is great. And yet here we are, being brainwashed into believing that this system that has hollow out the prosperity of the working class and transfer the wealth upward is the best system ever conceived. Marx had been right all along.

LOL this is hilarious. You think that every problem that the US face today on the democrats and tried to portray the republicans as "renegades". Except for a few mostly inconsequential things, the democrats and the republicans are virtually indistinguishable. They are both corporate parties, they uphold capitalism as the highest ideology and constantly make laws that undermine the common prosperity in the US in favor of the capital class. They are both terrible. The fact that the west is still thinking there is a difference among these parties is exactly why they are all living in a delusional world. It's not the individual parties, or individual politicians that are the problems. It's the entire system.
