  3. What a farcical title. Here are a few facts: Lai does not have a mandate. He barely eke out a majority over his two opponents and only have the support of 40% of the vote. It is not a majority. More Taiwanese did not vote than to vote for any one of the candidates. They losing faith in the SYSTEM. The DPP did not win a majority of legislative seats, and the KMT has won 1 more seat than they did. They lost 10 seats while the KMT gained 14 compared to the previous election. The TPP now has 8 seats and gained 3. It is going to be a hung parliament, where no side gain enough majority to control the legislative. What mandate is that? There is no way the DPP can put forth any legislation without the votes from KMT or the TPP, both of which definitely do not want independence. All of this should tell you the loss of confidence by the Taiwanese people on the system. Most likely, we will just see the continuation of the status quo for the near future. China does not have to do anything LMAO. You people are as duplicitous as you are delusional as westerners. Next you people are going to say there is no gen*cide in Gaza and Israel is a poor victim.

China is not the US where they can define anything willy nilly as national security threat and attack you for it. If India does not threaten China, then India don't have to fear China's PLARF. So the question WION should be asking: Is India trying to threaten China?
