  2. They killed MLK because he was going to turn from speaking on racial injustice to social/economic injustice. I It was well known that MLK thought and expressed that social conditions of black people cannot be divorced from the economic injustice suffered by the poor and powerless. They killed him because they feared a revolution on the social order of he ever started talking about why people are poor. It's one of the few conspiracy theories I can believe in.
