Modi is such a two faced creep.
647
Openly declares a tech and economic war, and explicitly said they want to "slow down" China's progress. The sheer arrogance and self-righteousness.
210
Since when has Americans' opinions matter to the ruling class?
116
This is the type of videos Americans need to watch before they think going to war with China is a just cause.

@avinashchaudhary8545 I wouldn't be sad if India voted against. I will say "yup, that's India."

@tonysu8860 China does not have imperial ambitions. Just because you westerners have imperial ambitions does not mean everyone has imperial ambitions. Taiwan is a breakaway province of China, reunification is not an invasion. Russia's national security is threatened by NATO expansion and explicitly stated goals by US political establishment to subjugate Russia and they act accordingly to protect their national security because they really have no other choices. Just because you are a murderer and a thief does not mean everyone is a murderer and a thief.
69
@@sei.tsukino No, the Chinese and Russians are actually very rational, if you just stop and listen to what they have to say and throw away all your assumptions that are taught to you by western media.
53
The arrogance of the Us to think they have the right to decide how another country should be run. One day, this karma will boomerang back to the US.
47
Capitalist cultural hegemony is just like that. They will always find any way to make sure the capitalism system is never blame for the problems they created.
44
The CPC doesn't think it is doing a good job. It KNOWS it is doing a good job and the Global Majority can see that. But the CPC also knows it can do an evening better job.
43
@Fido-vm9zi I'm one of those everyone. He is right. I don't take the EU seriously.
40
This is also a way to mislabel them. They are still Marxist first, because the party do believe in the basic ideas of Marxist-Leninism. The Chinese Characteristics are there to adapt ML policies to the Chinese people.
36
Stoop so low? If you look at their history objectively from a critical race theoretical framework, they have NEVER raised below being low.
32
@mabruksalman3734 Speak for yourself. I don't think the nuking of Japan was necessary.
29
"the Washington bank, I mean, the World bank..." Hahaha I see what you did there.
26
Barbarians. Also want to remind everyone that the US also have something similar to Dr. Mengele and Unit 731. It was the MK Ultra.
25
Or they are afraid.
25
A reverse "make their economy scream" wil be the poetic justice of this century.
24
LOL they just admit that the ICC was not supposed to target them even if they are guilty. They basically admit their guilt in the genocide of Palestinians and they should not be hold accountable for it.
24
@andrzejd5301 How can you take a country's word seriously, when they can just tear up a treaty after an election and the only predictable thing about them is profit maximizing and holding onto hegemony.
23
It is irrelevant whether Russia passes some purity test. The relevant part is that they are resisting western imperialism and that imperialism is what keeping everyone down.
17
It's soft censorship but it is still censorship.
16
The power of central planning and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
16
@xiawilly8902 Did you watch the video?
15
@xiawilly8902 No you only the propaganda version. He just told you the actual history.
15
That's what I'm afraid of. While this is admirable, but Germany is very much still a client state of the US and will not extricate itself from this nefarious relationship any time soon, if ever.
14
Haha, it's has the same vibe as if you piss off the American establishment, you must be doing something right.
14
@warheadsnation Everyone from the west who talks about the SCS always like to leave out one crucial fact. It was the SE Asian countries that first started to lay claims over these islands that have been used and populated by Southern Chinese for centuries, during the second half of the 20th century when China was the weakest to enforce their territories. Now that China is back in the game and able to enforce their sovereignty over these islands, the west, along with lackeys like the Filipinos conveniently forget that they never occupy these islands centuries previously. Their legitimacy over these islands are tenuous at best, which is why most of them choose to keep the status quo of ambiguity. Only Phillipinnes is dumb enough to fight China over this.
13
An unpunished chapter in American history. The US is just racking up these karma.
12
I loved it so much when China was able to tell companies like BlackRock to pound sand.
12
It's call capitalism.
12
@tonysu8860 No, China is not claiming the islands by force. They are making claims just as everyone in the SCS is doing so. Just because China is making claims does not make them the bad guy. While the Philippines is the one breaking international laws by deliberately grounding a ship in a reef and demanding that everyone recognize the reef as theirs.
12
Cuba does need defending from American Imperialism, considering that Cuba's sovereignty has been violated many times in the past.
12
It's not communism. Yet. One of the misunderstanding in the west about communism (I think this is deliberate propaganda) is that people think that communist countries are already communism. No, none of them are communist. Communism has actually never been achieved. All the experiments have been trying to get to communism, to transit there and that includes the USSR and even modern China. There are a lot of intellectual debates on how to get to communism among communists, and many concluded that it is a step-by-step process to turn a capitalist, profit oriented market economy into a communist, public oriented market economy. In many ways, China has achieved the first step towards communism, that is to develop the country to the point that it is industrialized, with a strong market economy but the political power lies in the hands of communists, who are guiding the country through stages of socialism to the final goal of communism.
11
Revolution.
11
Thank you Ben, for watching through that entire slough of a hearing.
11
Krugman turning neocon hawk is such a disappointment. But then he has always been a neoliberal economist so supporting fascism and capitalism at all cost is second nature to him.
11
@sharkybrickfilms99120 Did you watch the video? The Japanese were ready to surrender, they just need an out. Your argument is completely backward.
10
That's the point. It is to force people to not buy products that are cheaper and better, so their own companies can sell their more expensive and lousier products.
8
And the article still reads very chauvinistic.
8
@jult2309 The US put tariffs on everything for over 150 years of its history and only got into free trade after WWII when it is the only industrialized country untouched by the war. Hypocrisy much?
8
That's what neoliberalism is.
8
@MoorenaEl Yea, it is extreme. I'm just using the word "soft" to characterize it as covertly done. Maybe a better phrase will be covert censorship.
7
China's industrialization defies comparison in world history except for one example: the rise of the Soviet Union pre-WWI. In a short 20-30 years, the Soviet Union also went from a largely agrian backwards country into a industrial superpower. It is no coincidence that both countries used at their core the Marxist-Leninist mode of development. China has many modifications to the ML model as "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" but it is still baseline ML. This is also what the west, especially the US fears the most. Proving that socialism actually works in such a tremendous fashion by China is eroding the propaganda that the west has been pushing for decades. The rest of the works is starting to wake up to that fact because of China's meteroic rise. More and more people want to learn how China succeeded and became strong enough to resist western Imperialism and the answer staring in everyone's face is socialism and it is infuriating the western political establishment.
7
@thinkbeforeyoutype7106 Indeed. The fact that they can still use the analogy of the garden and the jungle shows that the colonial mindset never really left them. It just morphed into something they can pretend is more civilised and also putting themselves on the pedestal of civilization.
7
@Hyrodeniamandibulata Good luck not getting inflation.
7
@Wvavy we are already seeing. When you finally feel its effects in America, then it is already finished.
7
He did say, in our own backyard.
7
It's not the age. It's the competency and priorities of the leaders and the system that produces these leaders that determine the quality of the leadership.
7
This comment is so dumb I don't even really want to engage with it.
