  5. Europe is in a mess. They don't know what they want, what they should do, because they have been taking orders from the Americans for so long, they no longer know what to do if the puppet strings are cut. That's why they are so schizo; saying they can't be vassals of the US, and OTOH, saying they need to be closer to the US and NATO is the only thing protecting them. This is a sign of vassals panicking that their suzerain might abandon them and they will have to take real charge of their countries, be responsible and held accountable for their incompetence and crimes, instead of being mere administrators for a Kafkaesque empire. Good luck Europeans. You're gonna need a lot of it.
