You've said that China's nearby neighbors would side with NATO countries - it's unlikely that NATO (NORTH ATLANTIC Treaty Organization) would go to war anyplace outside the North Atlantic, let alone against China. We all saw what happened when NATO deployed in Afghanistan - the NATO partners started whining pretty quickly, and all pulled out soon after that - including even Canada. So when it comes to war against China, the US might only be able to count on China's eastern neighbors for support, including Australia.
