Yeah, put that on your resume -- "Badmouthed the boss, got fired" -- see how hirable that makes you

"The storm is coming for the U.S., Europe, and China" -- but not for India, which is entering into a new growth surge, as reforms take hold.

Don't forget Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon and world's richest man, has his own rocket company, Blue Origin. They've got a big rocket called New Glenn that's supposed to start flying in a year, and it's going to be bigger than the Falcon-9, although not quite as big as Starship.

@19:10 - I think it might be useful if the US goes to negative rates while Japan & Europe are in negative rates, because that would reduce the carry trade among the major economies to cause greater effects on the home economies of those who are lowering their rates. Arguably, the Emerging Country markets would still get capital inflows through carry trade, but the major developed economies would still benefit more than they otherwise would have.

@omarionbayley9721 - not everybody follows the same rhythm. While the major developed countries were sailing ahead in the previous decade, India was having to overcome a number of hurdles. But now India is finding its stride, and has enough untapped potential to mine for further progress, even while other economies are facing strong headwinds.

@redstar151 while SpaceX has chosen to publicly & incrementally iterate its way along, Blue Origin has chosen the opposite approach. They've been quietly developing their launcher behind the scenes, and have built a large manufacturing facility for it. They will suddenly flip the switch and unveil a powerful reusable rocket to the world. They can afford to take this route because Bezos as the world's richest man has vastly more money than Musk does. While Musk spent his time and effort making breakthrough rockets and cars, Bezos spent most of his effort making money, through Amazon. And guess what - if you're good at making money, then your money can buy you anything else that you want, whether it's breakthrough rockets or cars, etc. So Musk has a talent for achieving breakthroughs, and Bezos has a talent for making money, which allows him to buy all the breakthroughs he could want.

@Richard Jenkins like I said, Bezos' company has been operating in stealth mode. That company Blue Origin is actually older than SpaceX. They can afford to be slow and inefficient, because they have piles of Bezos' money behind them. In about a year, they'll flip their switch and suddenly become operational, and start doing rocket flights. And they have a pretty big rocket - bigger than Falcon-9.

@maxmaxie1328 well, I hope Musk keeps up his success rate, because that will light a fire under Bezos to spend more money getting his own space venture to work. Space is vast - the more the merrier. We consumers need more choice.
