You forgot to call him an "agent of Russia"

@faranocks maybe people need to complain again to switch it back

@faranocks then if it's Senators, and they belong to political parties, then they need to have term limits. Term limits will help to limit the buildup of party loyalties within these institutions, so that such party loyalties don't replace loyalty to the public interest.

+Bobthedj Trump is a plain-talker and he's a stand-up guy who's not afraid to talk about vital issues, rather than treating them as taboo. He's self-funding, so he's not beholden to all these shadowy PACs that run American politics and politicians from the shadows. All the other candidates are owned by these PACs. Trump is truly an independent outsider.

Why was it switched from state legislatures to popular vote?

@parsonj39 the purpose of the Electoral College is to ensure that a far-flung country like the US isn't run from a few concentrated citadels like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Otherwise, then secession should also be seen as a democratic alternative to citadel-bastion-rule.

+FACTvsEVOLUTION If I had a nickel for every time somebody called someone else Hitler, then I'd be richer than Donald Trump. You need to go look up "Godwin's Law" on Wikipedia

Bobthedj Trump is about getting the best deal on foreign policy. He's one of the only guys who doesn't want to keep reflexively ratcheting up tensions with Russia. He'd rather allow Putin to crush ISIS, instead of seeing ISIS head-chopping its way across the Middle East. He wants to get better trade deals for the US, instead of seeing the US hemmorrhage jobs to China and others, racking up huge trade deficits.

Your assertion about immigrants being beneficial to the US economy seems to sweep under the rug whether the US has a sovereign right of refusal. I'm born to immigrants who came to the United States from SouthAsia 50 years ago - but at no point did they ever feel that immigration was owed to them. That attitude seems to have gradually changed over the decades. I really feel a need to remind that immigration is not owed, and that any country has a sovereign right of refusal. If someone enters your body without permission, we call that rape. If someone enters your house without permission, we call that trespassing or intrusion. Likewise, if someone is entering your country/homeland without permission, it's similarly a violation of sovereignty. I don't see anyone on the Left telling any of their pet favorite causes like the Palestinians to shut up and welcome Jewish immigrants from Europe. Hypocrisy? You bet it is.

@KRYMauL sounds like something, something, collusion with russia, something something
3
What are their feelings for South Korea? You mean the North represents all Koreans?
3
Adrian Casas Hah, Sanders would be a cinch to beat - his policies would raise everyone's taxes through the roof. This guy's literally a Red Square - he took his honeymoon in Moscow of all places, back during the Cold War.

Pakistanis in UK, Turks in Germany, Arabs in Israel, Mexicans in USA, etc, etc
2
If they like North Korea so much, why don't they just go live there? Japan can offer free trips to North Korea, in exchange for them not coming back.
2
Adrian Casas They can't beat him. Trump would kick their @sses up and down the block. Trump knows that beating Bernie is so easy that he's looking forward to getting more of a challenge from beating Hillary. But you know he could beat her too - she's lucky she hasn't been indicted on charges yet.

Aguila701 are you volunteering for the deed, Mr Hinckley? I don't recall any tradition you're referencing.
1
Aguila701 He's far better than Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. He's also better than Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz.

You said Trump could be deciding "war and peace" - but he's the only guy who doesn't want to go to war with Putin. To me, that makes him more peaceful than the rest. I'd point out how bad Obama has been for America. America's power has declined under Obama.

@highlightsbottleflipnbanfl1847 Term limits support renewal and refreshment in the Congress, rather than allowing entrenchment of certain players and the lobbies they're beholden to, which can only increase the level of political antics, including partisan games.
1
@jmm394 keeping politicians in office is not the best way to address a revolving door problem. Since 4-5 terms isn't very common, then Term Limits shouldn't be much of an imposition.

@derrick970216 So Chongryun is not really representative of all Koreans in Japan, or even most. It all depends on who is getting money from where.
1
Oh, that doesn't matter to the left -- they've got a narrative to protect, you see
1
@Seer-of-things end - well, my comment was meant to be sarcastic. I actually know some Russian & Ukrainian people, and they get along very well with each other. Note that Adam Schiff has already accused Tucker of carrying water for the Russians. The Left used to at one time warn everyone about the dangers of McCarthyism, and yet strangely that talk has completely disappeared from them. Feels Orwellian, doesn't it? "Today we are at war with Russia"
