He's got backbone - he's taking withering fire from the PC lobby, and yet he's still standing his ground and not running with tail between legs. I like a leader with guts - he's a stand up guy. Ever since he's started showing so much backbone in these past couple of months, my opinion of him has gone up greatly. The US/West were stupid to try this, and Zelensky was stupid to believe them. The best thing to do is to soothe the Bear to calm it down. This situation needs to be defused and de-escalated. Zelensky and the US/West need to make commitments to Russia to keep Ukraine neutral. Neutrality isn't the end of the world -- the Swiss did it, Austrians did, and things were just fine for them.
