  15. Gingrich would make a good VP - his comments are constructive criticisms, just like Bill O'Reilly's comments to Trump are constructive criticisms, intended to help the candidate win. But in defense of Trump, he's the guy who didn't like the invasion of Iraq, so obviously he's not a reflexive war-monger. Likewise, we've seen how gracious Trump has been in praising Rubio, Cruz and all the others he previous attacked while competing against them for the nomination. So that shows that Trump doesn't really have a thin skin - he just does verbal counter-punching.

  50. I think one of the reasons Arnold turned against Trump early on during the 2016 presidential campaign was that he fell for the Trump-Putin conspiracy theory crap. We all get that Arnold is European, and that European affairs matter more to him. So I see why he's agitated about what's happening in his old neighborhood. But Trump was the guy who urged NATO countries to spend more -- ironically exactly what they're doing now in response to this invasion, and what might have actually deterred this invasion from happening in the first place, if they'd done it back when Trump complained about it. I even think that Trump's complaint about the need for more European NATO spending was what stirred the hornet's nest and got the NATO lobby triggered, leading to the accusations that he was an anti-NATO stooge of Putin, and thus the Russia Collusion Hoax. So Trump did the right thing and got crucified for it by the powerful NATO lobby and its partisan political connections.
