If he doesn't win the Democrat primary (we've already seen how they rig things) then he should run as an independent. :hand-purple-blue-peace:

Legendary Rand Paul just like his legendary dad. Like father like son. The legend lives on.

When someone makes accusations on baby-killing, they mean their own babies, and not the other side's babies
355
"I don't have anything to share with you" -- translation: I don't give a crap about US public opinion or their need to know, we don't serve at their pleasure.

Isn't this like trying to close the barn door after the horses have fled? Little late to be raising an alarm :face-purple-wide-eyes:
39
Because political donors control the govt and the taxpayer money its spends, not the taxpayers themselves
33
Twitter should be held liable for any boycott campaigns done through its social media platform
20
@charlotteantiquepowerengin6277 - you've basically declared America to be Russia anyways, by claiming that anyone who doesn't toe your exact political line is Russian (so basically the entire population)
19
Smiled the wicked smile. Schadenfreude.
14
He's not innocent. He's a Biden operative who's just putting on an innocent voice when caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
14
if Ukraine is doing these things on America's dime, then America can tell it what to do. They've received on the order of a half-a-trillion dollars in American taxpayer money. Who the hell are they to demand more, like something is owed to them?
12
Creepy president
12
Yeah, put that on your resumé - "Badmouthed boss, got fired" - like that's going to make you hirable anywhere 🙄
11
Charles Schumer, Israeli ambassador to the United States, expresses frustration at China not supporting his home country, Israel :face-red-droopy-eyes: How come other countries don't get this kind of representation in Washington?
11
@nancylaporte5021 - stand with him where? on the skulls of dead children?
8
@Arturo Hernandez - the accumulated erosion thusfar (did you see the latest spending bill passed) has led to the chaos. Apparently you'll only be happy when more similar spending bills run the country into the ground (because apparently that's not chaos to you)
7
Squatter mentality -- "we should stay, Elon should go" Followed by -- "we shouldn't go to Mars, Mars should come here" 🙄
7
No wonder Obama & co wanted to nominate him to the Supreme Court. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
7
JusPUtin Trudeau

@charlotteantiquepowerengin6277 - McCarthyites gotta McCarthy - pathetic

"Employer getting in the way of my siestas"

I grew up watching lots of animated cartoons during the 1980s - and many of them were animated in Japan, due to the low cost of the Yen which made Japanese goods and services, including their animation studios, cheap in relation to the dollar. I always missed those cool cartoons I used to watch, and was disappointed to learn that more could not be made due to the Yen having become so expensive in relation to the dollar. Now that the Yen is falling again, I hope that toymakers and comicbook publishers alike will look to see if they can reach out to those talented Japanese animation studios to get more content from them, thanks to the lower cost of the Yen.

Not only that, things will get worse and worse and worse
5
@ - then you must not have been paying attention, if you didn't know about all the US taxpayer money which has been sent to Ukraine. Zelensky is suddenly personally much richer than before.
5
The media henchmen are such instigators, aren't they? Who was that shallow lady?

MSM really went against Vivek once he dared to attack the establishment pick Nikki Haley. They basically shadow-banned him and kept all coverage away from him. Trump's the only one the MSM won't avoid covering, since he lives rent-free in their fever-dreams due to Trump Derangement Syndrome. Anyway, the winning team is now consolidating and forming up. Next I'd expect DeSantis to bow out after New Hampshire, and likewise endorse Trump. :hand-purple-blue-peace: Nikki will go to the bitter end, with her Big Money / Deep State backers conniving to use legal tricks to keep Trump off the ballot.

Dark Brandon on full display

This man was a good US Secretary of State. And just a good man. How unsurprising that the NYT hates him. While Trump as a newcomer, may have had a rough start in getting the right person in there, the MAGA ideology ultimately came through and brought forth the right person for the job.

Depends on the consequences. If the consequences are coercive and involve use of state power, then it's repression of speech. Who are Americans to lecture the world about freedoms, if they don't allow them at home? By your standards, then every govt around the world should be able to echo your phrase "Freedom of speech isn't free of consequences" Is it acceptable to you if govts you don't like also borrow your language? "It's only okay when I say it! It's not okay when others do!" doesn't amount to any credible universal principles.

An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Protest :hand-purple-blue-peace: Don't Provoke Wars and Then You Won't Have to Protest Them
4
That's true - they should have to put all their assets into a blind trust like the President does
4
Exactly - the only countries where judges choose instead of the people, are banana republics

@michaelhuppertz6738 - I think Posse Comitatus refers to internal deployment of US military, not border deployment.
3
Headscarf-wearing Muslim journalist questioning the democratic credentials of India's non-Muslim govt --- no sectarian bias there, nahhhhh! /S 🙄 Would she be asking similar questions if it were leaders from Pakistan meeting at the Whitehouse?
3
How did they allow all these people to illegally cross the southern border? Just more of the same.
3
"Honest" A.Blinken
3
@Angel46398 - just for correction, Hamas does attack civilians, and clearly did so on Oct 7. The music festival mass-murder was just one example. The International Criminal Court is being asked to issue warrants for both Hamas and Israeli leaders.
3
@AnetteBarrett - Vivek was born in Ohio. If you're bringing up his birth certificate, it's because you want to see it.
3
I don't see this proposal as 'Russia-friendly'. Those areas are Russian majority, and have always been so. I very much like Elon Musk's idea, which would save a lot of lives that would otherwise be wasted. I'm sure ordinary Ukrainians on the ground would also prefer this option, in contrast to their pampered leaders who are living very well off foreign aid. Ukrainians should stop being suckers and patsies. Those advocating continuation of this war just want to fight the Russians right down to the last Ukrainian life. 🧐
3
Nah, he already had his sinecure - at a financial company on Wall Street - but he was called back to do this stuff. So he'll go back there when they want him shifted out.
3
He's channeling Robert Mueller and talking like he's in a daze
3
Drain the Swamp - it's out of control :text-green-game-over:
3
@wagzel - you're talking about the 14th Amendment, which was a Civil War era law. It was never intended to be used in this way.
3
Because the Donor Class don't care about the country's borders, and mainly care about overseas causes. America is just their vassal state, to go fight their wars for them, while letting the homeland rot, like some hollowed-out empire.
2
@michaelhuppertz6738 - that's not the same as border policing. The goal of Posse Comitatus was to prevent the use of military as a police state to oppress Americans. Border policing is normal, and not internal oppression. Foreign nationals are not Americans, and are not the purpose of Posse Comitatus protection which is meant for Americans.
2
@put tinfoil in your hat. - oh, I do - I think you should stop watching the fake news and start viewing a variety of news sources, so that you can learn to think critically.
2
@shaneodwyer6132 - how many babies have Hamas used as human shields? Baby shields. Israeli military don't stick their civilians in front of them when fighting. They fight honourably, and try to keep their civilians away from fighting. Hamas try to keep civilians in front of them as human shields -- even babies. They want to prey upon everyone else's humanity, while showing none from their side. When Palestinian civilians try to flee fighting, Hamas insist they stay put and serve as shields. What kind of mentally sick thugs do this? Is this something you would do? If so, then you're saying a lot about yourself - and nothing good.
2
Don't forget it was Musk who extended a lifeline to them in the form of Starlink internet connectivity.
2
Yeah, dude - but like he's not the cliché surfer dude of the past He's more like a millennial snowboarder dude Know what I mean... dude?
