  3. The Orsk isn't a heavy enough attack ship, though. If you look at heavier vessels like the Vor'cha Heavy Cruiser, their armor was better equipped to stand up to Romulan firepower. That reduced range of engagement means that enemy shield generators won't stand up to the barrage for long.
