Why is Finland's govt joining NATO without even holding any kind of referendum to put the question of NATO membership to the people?

59:33 - Modi has had to delay his trip because he's having to deal with a crisis on his doorstep created by the United States when it carried out a Maidan-style regime change in Bangladesh nextdoor. Again, the United States feels unhappy with India's foreign policy independence, seeing it as tipping the scales on the Ukraine War in favour of the other side. Therefore the US feels the need to put Indian in its place by counter-balancing it with a hostile regime nextdoor. Pakistan has traditionally fulfilled that role for the US, but they're faltering in that role since their military regime (again also installed by the US) has led the country into bankruptcy, and they're now also in a militarily weak state the US has asked them to send all their artillery shells to Ukraine. So now the US has pulled a stunt in Bangladesh to create a new distraction.

How long until the new settlements appear? "It was empty land! Nobody was living there! Why are they attacking me?"

Alex always gives an extra level of detail and nuance that we don't get anywhere else 👍

Love to see you guys traveling around more. You've gotta share some snapshots of these localities with us, Alex. I've also gotta say that I love Christoforou's walkabouts, and the travel to distant places makes them all the more interesting.

West loudly screeching that "ISIS did it!" -- screaming this before the terrorists had even been apprehended. Methinks they doth protest too much. How the hell do they know who it is before an investigation has completed? They seem to be wholly interested in putting their own spin on events, drawing conclusions for their own selfish ends.

Israel & Turkey Molotov-Ribbentrop pact

There are reports of secret talks between Washington & Moscow which could possibly bring an early end to the war. If Ukrainian nationalists feel sold out, they could start venting their ire in all sorts of ways, leading to a neo-Nazi resurgence across Europe and the West.

But how did so many Syrian forces surrender so quickly? Was it engineered? If so, by who?

How likely is it that Putin was waiting for US to withdraw from Afghanistan before he invaded Ukraine? I'm assuming that with Afghanistan being near Russia's soft underbelly, the Russians would have been very hesitant to open up a new war front in Eastern Europe while their soft underbelly flank was vulnerable to that large US military presence in Afghanistan. On the other hand, American arms supply to Ukrainian insurgents could have been matched by Russian arms supplies to Taliban. How would the pro's and cons of that weigh out?

Why did those Syrian generals quickly order their troops to surrender like that? Were they bought off? If so, by whom? Turkey? Israel? US? Why wasn't this done years earlier, if Syria is such a house of cards?

Pakistan's army has warned Imran Khan not to disclose the contents of the US cable, and it has now despatched military troop-carrying vehicles to the parliamentary district. It's very clear that the military are involved in some kind of activity in relation to changing out the govt.

Does Syria have any oil for Turkey to grab? Otherwise, what's funding Erdogan's neo-Ottoman imperial ambitions? ❓

I guess Turks love inflation

It's not just Ukraine's fault, it's also the fault of warmongers in Washington who interfered in Ukraine's politics to bring the worst people to power in Kyiv. :face-blue-covering-eyes:

@Tertia.E011 - Orwellmust be laughing from the grave right now. "We had to take our decision without consulting the public, because the public might be tools for Russian disinformation" It seems "Russian disinformation" is now the Universal Pass for any crooked behavior by corrupt politicians in the West. Any garbage decisions and practices can now be justified by citing "Russian disinformation". It's this kind of crooked stuntsmanship which led to WW2, and which will also now lead to WW3. Disgusting.
