India is the world's largest democracy, and not a banana republic like the ones America keeps under its thumb.

This is a narrative peddled by colonizers who themselves practiced divide-and-rule. How do you think such a small number of British ruled over such a large number of Indians? By promoting their english word "caste". Brits did the same thing while ruling Ireland nearby - they emphasized the "clans" to promote a narrative suitable to divide-and-rule over them. Indians certainly did have a feudal past -- but so did everybody else in the world. What happened is that after the British left, India was taken over by socialists, and socialism also likewise practices divide-and-rule through class warfare. Modi is the first prime minister from a so-called "low caste" (ie. a poor socio-economic background) That's why the Left hate him so -- because he really does represent the poor, while the Left are actually a bunch of elites who don't.

Pakistan and China are both dictatorships. Every single war with India has been provoked by each of them. Any needlessly negative relations are on them, not Indians.

This show is being hosted by shills from the Lutyens lobby. Modi's done more for the economy than previous govts. India's lost a great opportunity for economic progress when Sonia Gandhi pulled the rug out from under Narasimha Rao's reformist govt. Had Rao's govt been allowed to continue, India could have achieved a lot of the growth China has achieved, because that was an era before western protectionism had fully set in. Unfortunately the European Sonia had little stake in the progress of Indian society, and was mainly interested in her family's own political interests instead of the nation's.
