  1. Newsmax seems to favor one or more of Trump's rivals over Trump, and they're engaging in politically partisan reporting - if you can even call this reporting. This lady is from Pakistan, the country which shielded Bin Laden even while taking tens of billions from the US to hunt him. I don't see her credentials on Republican values or even on American values as being particularly strong. She kept using the language of liberal thought police - talking about being "offended", and trying to use her "offended" feelings to shape the free speech of others, rather than debate them on substance. She didn't even accept the legitimacy of the phrase "radical Islam", claiming it was an insult to all Muslims. She also talked about "1.8 billion of us" Muslims, alluding to the body of largely non-American people she most identifies with. Trans-nationalism, whether based in religion or ideology or anything else, is a threat to the survival of nations.

  2. I think you're prematurely rushing to condemn Tucker Carlson. To me, he's a pretty based fellow. I think he was reasonable in wanting proof to substantiate the leap of faith that Sidney Powell is asking for when promising to expose election fraud. It's quite reasonable to want proof on such a serious allegation. If Sidney Powell is unwilling or unable to provide it, then it's quite fair and prudent of others to be wary of her claims. After all, there's a lot riding on the ultimate verdict in this election, and it would be wrong to jeopardize the arguments against it by making false unsubstantiated allegations. The bigger the allegations, the more that proof is warranted. I don't buy that proof should be withheld in order to avoid having the media tear it down. A strong case will withstand harsh scrutiny and even scurrilous attacks.
