👍Thumbs up for this great video! Yes, I've seen reviews for that induction wok product. I've wondered what other interesting cooking appliance configurations could incorporate induction technology. Do a Youtube search for "stir fry machine" - it's like a pot that rotates on a tilted axis to automatically tumble the food contents while frying them. I think induction would work nicely for that type of cooking setup. (Yes, I know that must make me sound like a very lazy cook) 😜

Regarding condensation & ice buildup on the exterior evaporator during temperatures below freezing, is it possible to spray some kind of hydrophobic coating onto the evaporator surface? How about something like WD-40 / mineral oil? Shouldn't that give a fine enough coating layer to not interfere with the heat transfer?

What about Magnetocaloric Effect? That's a different type of heat pump which you haven't covered yet. Any commercial devices which make use of it?

So if future air-sourced heat pumps may eventually provide COP of 2.5 at arctic temperatures, then will they automatically displace ground-loop heat pumps from the marketplace? I'd like to know, and I'd also like to know what future innovations may happen that will make air-sourced heat pumps improve in performance, especially in very cold weather (I live in Canada)

@TechnologyConnections - I really appreciate your quality explanations of these important energy-efficiency technologies. Recently, I've been hearing about Solar PVT (Photovoltaic Thermal) systems and how they're designed to work in combination with heat pumps for even greater energy efficiencies. I was wondering if you might be able to give us an examination of this interesting new technology. Thanks.
