  1. Unnerving Theory: The wow signal is an alien civilization noticing ours and planning our demise after we were spotted in the dark forest full of predatory civilizations, waiting for a naive one to start spreading its signals all over the place.

  2.  @dannygelbart6827  Thats what I also inferred with my second statement if you read and understood my statement. Logically deduce, if there is no civilization that is advanced enough to communicate with others in space, then the signal they detected was there some cosmic anomaly (pulsar, black hole, supernova, what have you) or their equipment creating a false reading.

It could be that aliens are more advanced than us and have been advanced for longer than we were...or alien civilizations are just now getting to the same advancement level as we are, and that there are no advanced civilizations in the universe yet that are capable of long distance communication.

  4. Maybe we shouldnt be searching for alien life, especially if most of the advanced ones are not friendly to less developed weaker ones. Three-Bodied Problem made this cosmic horror all to apparent.
