@ssir5927 Im just pointing out facts. If you think that there is a p (not f or ph) in the arabic language, feel free to paste this letter to your next comment. Do you know any arab countries that has p in the arab name (egypt is called Masr in arabic and in Pakistan people speak urdu and not arabic). It does show the lack of knowledge that people has when it comes to the basics of the arabic culture.

@ssir5927 Loll i guess you didn't find that letter. Instead of making personal remarks, tell me my friend do you know what dialect of arabic is spoken in gaza or the west bank? Is it the same dialect? I hope that by now you know which river and what sea.

@ssir5927 Loll I actually know quite a bit of arabic. The name palestine would be pronounced as balestine by arabs, as p is usually replaced with b in modern translation to arabic. And, if the name was falestine why wasn't it translated to balestine or just falestine? The reason for that is that there were no palestinian people before 1964 when PLO was established. If you think otherwise can you tell me a famous palestinian leader before Yasser Arafat? If there was a country named palestine, who was their president? By answering that way you are just proving my point... All of this is really basic arabic linguistics. I have asked you quite a few questions, yet you failed to answer even one of them.

@ssir5927 BTW ... The latin spelling of that word has everything to do with that because it was the romans that coined this word after the Bar Kochva rebellion. You can read all of this in wikipedia.
