  2. Zolpidem is not a benzo and I think it would be akin to a crime to not allow a sleepless senior to use it. If it is affecting balance and thinking, maybe the senior is getting too high a dose. Also, if you're "discontinuing" it in an older adult who has been benefitting from zolpidem, you do know it will cause withdrawal symptoms along with the sleeplessness again?

  3. If an older person is "addicted" to benzos, why try to take them off of it? Why not just keep them at a low consistent dose?

  4. Zoloft can causer personality changes such as anger, irritability etc. I'm hearing that Prozac has been helpful for some family members.
