  4. I had a female doctor practically have a anxiety attack because I asked her to prescribe a slightly higher dose of z0lpidem. She was about to burst into tears or something.

  5. A doctor was asked to prescribe zolpidem controlled release which is 12.5 mg. That was ineffective and patient asked the doctor if he could just prescribe the IR at 1 - 1 1/4 at night if needed. Patient is familiar with the medication and there is no concern about side effects. Doctor said, No, the 10 mg zolp and the 12.5 extended release are the same thing, no difference. (??)
