I'M TIRED OF PAYING FOR FREELOADERS.
121
I cancelled Comcast to get rid of monthly bills. There's NO WAY I would be paying a subscription to a printer.

The government HAS stolen so much money it's disgusting. BUT, I see almost none of my friends saving any money (before Covid), they buy lots of junk; new cars, cigs, beer, drugs, liquor, tip real big at expensive restaurants... they've wasted money their whole life. I'm living proof of that. I saved a lot when I was younger. Even my brother and sister are broke, while I retired long ago, they both still work and I'm the youngest and retired 12 years ago.

I play tennis for fun, walk my dog, go boating/fishing, pickleball, work out with weights, etc. AI will not cut into any of my activities except watching Youtube videos. People need to delete social media and go out and live REAL life.
21
It's common sense. Use protection or don't have smex. People are against abortion because it's murd3r. Don't have kids and expect taxpayers/government to pay for them. Any questions?
17
@realtrealtoronto Paying "their fair share" means nothing. You guys NEVER define how much "fair share" is exactly. Why doesn't this country stop spending so much, then you wouldn't need so much more in taxes. We don't have a money problem in USA, we have a huge spending problem. Also, I have never personally known a 16yo who supports themselves. You're making up lies.
12
Odd how my salary hasn't doubled in the same time period, neither has anyone I know. You're an anomaly but don't know it.
12
Same.
11
@poeticprincee9750 She must've been a terrible person. People don't just abandon their family for no reason.
10
@ These's only one thing worse than dying young and broke... dying OLD and broke. Life is terrible when you can't put food on the table and too old to work.
9
@Professor__S exactly lol
9
This "hating on your parents" generation is disgusting.
9
Someone has to do manual labor. AI will never do HVAC, electrical, flooring, plumbing, etc. If robots do all that, we will need someone to fix the robots; Robot Doctors.
9
@joy4118 Ok, I didn't make it clear. Saving and investing. Stuff was way cheaper JUST FIVE YEARS AGO, before Covid. It was all possible before Covid.
8
Now that is living life!!!
8
Before 2020 stuff was really cheap. She took 65 years and didn't save a penny.
7
@ponche22 You guys are so quick to blame boomers. My parents/grand parents were boomers and were dirt poor as was almost everyone. So they bought a house years ago, you sound very jealous.
7
YES YES YES, let's get rid of Hollyweird.
6
Almost anyone could have bought a house in 2019 before Covid.
6
Boomers fought many wars, went through a depression. My parents were completely broke. My mom washed tin foil and us kids had used clothes. Stop believing those who spew this hate.
6
Food, housing, insurance and everything has DOUBLED in price... EXCEPT my salary. It stayed the same somehow.
6
@saltlife6635 Gawd how do you live life being that "not smart"?
5
You should have been saving for 6 years and you could have walked out the door. People like you are the reason they get away with crap like that. They OWN you and they know it. Go look in the mirror if you want to blame someone.
5
@wayneroberts6642 You don't know the whole story. Some people can't be helped.
5
@SandBoxZen They didn't plan ahead. Plain and simple. Social security was always supposed to HELP in retirement, not be your complete retirement. Personal responsibility is always out the window with your time. My entire life I learned to do without stuff so I can retire nicely.
5
@Misu.A and one last thing, EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the whole class was balling their eyes out, even the "tough guys". It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. You should really go watch an abortion on film, you would change your mind instantly.
5
If you bought a house 5 years ago (before covid) you would be ok... but you want to blame someone else.
5
Exactly. My parents were poor and struggling, but young people act like all boomers were filthy rich.
5
Nope. I have WAY more money than my broke Boomer parents. It's called working hard. I grew up dirt poor as did my brother and sister. I did something with my life, my siblings are still completely broke.
5
@Green_Lantern89 We just need to delete FILTERS, and plastic surgery.
4
@ Maybe you don't realize women initiate divorce 80% of the time. You guys love to focus on the very small percentage of things.
4
"Shedding light on this" doesn't mean anything. You sound jealous of other people having good parents.
4
I made $59k in 2012 and lived like a peasant. That's how I saved. Today it's impossible.
4
@RpMcMurphy_ The Starbucks hate is that you are paying $7 for a $0.25 cup of coffee. Broke people just don't understand basic math.
4
With my garage I have a rule, NOTHING goes into the garage besides cars. I have a small shed in back for lawn mower and other stuff. Nothing worse than getting out of the car and stepping around a bunch of junk, OR most of my neighbors NOT parking in their garage because they're full of PURE JUNK that they haven't seen in years.
4
a TV isn't bad to own, just don't buy subscriptions to anything, and NO cable.
4
@realtrealtoronto bot
4
Remember when cable first came out; they said it costs money because there's no commercials.
4
I'm 50 and feel the same way. What could we have done? What are you going to do?
3
@ Wait till you get older and see the true colors of people.
3
You're not living, you're just surviving.
3
I get the market dumb consumers pay for.
3
I gave it up 26 years ago... never been better.
3
@SirKingCora You sound jealous. We all know the solution. Stop spending more than you make. Yes, it's just that simple.
3
Then no one would get their EBT cards. Let's do it.
3
@Andreasy2 To be homeless you have to make very poor choices. There's nobody to save you. If the government steps in, it's on the taxpayers to pay for her mistakes. I have my own mistakes to pay for.
3
@amylee6038 Yes ma'am. Sounds like me. Anything can happen when you make good decisions. Relatives and friends will be jealous and mad, but they wasted all their money.
3
@annahgibbus8 They always miss something, no matter how competent.
3
@sheldonconk9526 I think it's a huge flex. Broke people just don't understand.
3
Biden printed $8 Trillion and gave you $1200, and loaded their friends up with the rest... and created massive inflation for us all.
