  1. On my street in S Florida my neighbor pays just over $98k/year in property taxes. They paid $3m in 2023 then their house got reassessed at $5.1m. They also have several Lamborghinis, a Cyber, and several luxury cars... plus a big multi million $ yacht parked out back (we live on a canal). Property taxes on my house are $32k, insurance is $16k and we are moving out of the state in a few months. Their house is newer and 5200 sqft and mine is only 1400. I'm so over these high prices in Ft. Lauderdale.
