My parents bought a house 30 years ago and now they only have taxes and insurance. Trust me, buying is better in the long run. You could have bought around age 30 and been sitting pretty right now.

@SomeUserNameBlahBlah You will pay for all that if you rent, PLUS make the landlord a nice profit. It's simple if you ask me.

My daughter is 25yo and lives with me at home, her boyfriend lives with me also. They are allowed to stay as long as they need/want. I hope they never move out. We all get along very well. I also have a son at home, he can stay forever also.

@SomeUserNameBlahBlah Thank you. I was oblivious to the fact that some people don't get along with family. I guess we're just lucky. That aside, I don't see how they will ever afford a house with these prices.
