  1. no but that is what people in both the leftist and rightist sides of the media want us to believe. I still believe we have much more in common. And I also simultaneously want to be prepared, in the event that my optimism for freedom and for America proves wrong.

  2. we’ve always been divided. That was part of the very and actual reasons WHY the founding fathers WROTE DOWN the Bill of Rights into the law and Constitution! The Founding Fathers themselves WERE divided! Example: Many of them were abolitionists and despised the other founding fathers who owned slaves! And so, and so, we have ALWAYS been divided. THIS IZZZZZZuh😅 part and parcel to the recognizing of each individual’s right to freedom and natural rights. And some politicians want to abolish it.

  3. as my favorite radio show host and podcast host Michael Berry explains when this issue comes up…mmm… not really. There was civil war in 1860-1866 or whenever it was. Yes, some are predicting it. It could be moving that way and that would be bad. But we are not on the actual precipice of another civil war and therefore no, we are not as divided now as we were then. Divided? Yes. Civil War divided? no. Divided, That’s a part of having freedom. You get your freedom to be a dick, I get my freedom to call you a dick. And we go our separate ways and hate each other from afar without actually attempting to murder one another.
